A new place for data
John Deere has a large data offering for its clients and has been hard at work completely redesigning its UDP (Unified Data Platform). As part of an exciting new launch of the UDP they were looking to create a video that showed off the new features on launch and some yet to come. They have a strong focus on AI data tools and wanted to make sure the video could help communicate that with viewers.
Style and boards
The hardest part of any tech experience demo is walking the fine line between sexy marketing visuals and real world platform use. Finding that line involved a LOT of iteration in boards and during the style process to build a visual style that worked for Deere. This style was something they had never done before so it was a huge and exciting leap for everyone involved!
Adding dimension
In addition to the 2D styles I wanted to enhance some of these visuals with exciting 3D moments. I achieved a lot of these with a combination of 3D in After Effects and a bit of work in Blender.
